Well, it's the end of May 2023! Time to look back and plan for the next one.

In the month of May I:

• Published 21 blog posts (not counting this one)
• Published 2 podcast episodes
• Redid the shop logo
• Increased site visitor engagement time from 8 seconds to 14 seconds. So close to doubling it!
• Joined various affiliate networks and am now doing content creation for 8 brands!
• Made 0 sales in my own shop - can only go up from here!
• Created and published 166 pins to Pinterest for driving traffic to this website/affiliate website page(s).
• Had 462 visitors at A Cute Little Shop

In all, not a bad month! Does it bother me that I didn't make any sales? Yes it does, but I always try to analyze and learn so I can figure out how best to market my products. Perhaps marketing on one platform is better than marketing on another or maybe I need to beef up the product descriptions more - the point is each non sale I make is always a step towards figuring out how to make that sale. So with that in mind I'm sharing my plans for the next month!

Goals for June & how I plan to achieve them:

• Publish 12 posts
  • write and publish 3/week
• Publish 2 podcast episodes
  • I've written the script for one already and will start on the next one soon.
• Increase visitor engagement time from 14 seconds to 20 seconds
  • 4 of the blog posts will be buying guides, which capture visitors attentions and increase their engagement time
• Make 1 Shop sale a week
  • With what I've learned this month I'm actually confident I can make more but for now the goal is 1 sale per week.
  • exclusively marketing specific items to people who've shown interest in them before will hopefully influence them to complete the sales process and checkout!
• 500 visitors at A Cute Little Shop
• 4 pins per day to drive traffic
• 1 link from social media per 48 hour period (basically, 1 Instagram Story every other day

These goals are somewhat modest but I've been the person who had high ambitions only to find her goals unattainable so I'm trying to set up a realistic goal timeline for the next month. Check back at the end of June 2023 to see how it's going!
